Simply exchange your old camera for market value and you receive a camera, data, access to a companion app, AI editing, and a photo credit. With each selected digital photo costing $1, Relonch encourages trading in your old digital camera to offset some of the costs.

With a $99 monthly subscription fee, you only have to worry about pointing and shooting. With a shutter button, power button, lens, and viewfinder, Relonch is arguably one of the simplest cameras to operate. Once the user presses a single button, the image is uploaded to Relonch’s cloud service and is ready for processing. The company’s artificial intelligence edits the best shots, discards the rest – and even stores the fully edited shots.

Whether it’s their AI intelligence named Alfred or its Pictured Technology editing platform, Relonch comes with an action-packed software suite. Capable of isolating each object within a picture, users end up getting a fully developed digital photo and not just the negative. With a launch date set for “sometime in 2018,” Relonch wants to eliminate the complications associated with photography. “We chose to create the camera as a service model rather than just hardware or software.
